The weather is very hazy but also very humid at the moment in Puerto Rico and the whole island of Gran Canaria in general.
It’s what we call a calima or dust storm, in which there is suspended sand in the clouds and humidity rises. This blows over from the Sahara, causing higher temperatures than usual.
